The Leica R7

The Leica R7 replaced the R5 as the electronic companion to the manual R6.2. Similar to the R5, but with R6 type 'tall' shutter  speed dial and more versatile TTL flash metering, integral or selective, flash as primary source or fill-in. Other improvements are increased exposure meter sensitivity DX coding with manual setting beyond DX limits and automaic battery check display in viewfinder.

Models were produced in satin chrome, catalogue number 10001, but a black finish was available with a plain focusing screen, catalogue number 10012.

Production period 1991 - 1996.

Total production : 29529,  22550  in black, 6979 in silver, 200 in Urushi paint
