The Leica Standard

The Leica Standard camera, introduced in black finish at serial number 100001 in 1932, a chrome production started the following year  with camera number 105201 and  ceased in1950 at serial number 355460, 13545 were produced in black finish and 13680 in chrome.
basically the model Standard or E is a model C with the added feature of an extendible rewind knob. The shutter speeds range from 1/20 - 1/500 of a second plus Z. There is no Leica engraving on the top plate and no strap lugs.

The catalogue code word is ALVOO for black finish AROOGCHROM for the chrome model.
